Literary Assessment:

This is the place to start to answer the question, "Why am I or my child struggling to learn to read, write or spell?" The assessment consists of approximately two hours of testing, a one hour meeting to review test results, and a written assessment response. The summary section of the report will identify areas of strength and weaknesses and give recommendations for improving literary skills. Dyslexia/Written Language Evaluation:

This is a comprehensive educational evaluation. It does not include an IQ test. Completion of this evaluation will allow the testee to know if they have a diagnosis of dyslexia. It consists of approximately four to five hours of testing, a one hour meeting to review test results, and a written evaluation report. The summary section of the report will identify areas of strength and weakness and give recommendations for improving literacy skills. The state of Kansas does not require students to have a diagnosis in order to get services.
